The BBHT Health Talk for September will be on the NMSU Campus Fitness Programs. On this Wednesday, September 5 (noon to 12:50pm), Mr. Shon Meyer, Assistant Director of Fitness and Wellness, will give a guest lecture in NMSU Safety Training Facility, Room 110, Academic Research C.

. . .Kick off your Fall season by engaging in a new fitness/wellness program and getting your healthy lifestyle back on track! All the programs offered by the Wellness Center including the upcoming “Fall into Fitness Challenge” will be discussed. The challenge is an invigorating six-week program incorporating increased acts of physical activity and healthy habits into your lifestyle. Grand prizes will be awarded to the top team and individual. This is a perfect opportunity for departments, divisions, offices, or clubs to participate in a fun and beneficial program while improving your health. So gather your team or challenge yourself. Entry forms are now being accepted.
Presentation will also discuss: Circuit Training Program; Aerobics Classes; BOSU (new class) Fitness!; Fitness/Wellness Assessments; Personal Training Services; and Nutritional Analysis.
The Brown Bag Health Talks are a monthly event created by Dr. J.M. Berning, Director of the Exercise Physiology Lab, to help NMSU employees and their families understand various health issues in an informal setting…and it is FREE.
